The design team @HightouchData played Presentation Roulette this past week. We randomly generated horrible startup ideas and had 30 mins to make a pitch deck. Lots of laughs all around! Randomly generate silly startup ideas by matching a solution to a target audience provided in the resources section below. Assign startups to participants and ask them to create a three slide pitch deck for the given company. I’ve found that it can help the creative process get moving to provide two colors and a typeface as constraints. Folks will present their 3 slide pitch at the end asking the audience to buy their product or invest in their company. This can be accomplished in Figma or in Google Slides.
